There are always some little sparks of moments that make me really happy during this stressful time...I just finished my Asian American Studies paper a minute ago! And yesterday I felt so accomplished that I managed to figure out what the unknown compound was from all sorts of lab data (It took me quite a while because the mass spectrum doesn't show the molecular peak--------I worked with the wrong molecular weight for a long long long long time and came out with some weird looking compound, and then I found that the compound I had come up with was nowhere in the huge list of 200 possible unknown given out by the lab instructor-----so i had to go back to work it through again.)em...is there any mass spectrometer that leaves the molecular ion intact?

Haha this is my first time working with real mass spectra...not the 2 cl gives 9:6:1 peaks in A-levels...it's quite fun solving the puzzle. And infra-red spectra are great:) But I need to wait till next semester to use the NMR...

And thank Glory so much for the mooncake! You're a superb big sister!

It was halloween on Monday...we went to the president's house. It is a wellesley tradidion again. but personally i'm not a halloween fan.
