To those friends who have been visiting my blog, I'm really really very sorry for not updating. I have been really really busy as all the subjects are going a full pace now...but nevertheless, I shall try my best to update once in a while.LAKE DAYWhen I went out for class this morning (freezingly cold!), I saw "Happy Lake Day" written by chalk on the floor. It was all over the place on my way to the Science Centre, but I guessed it was probably some unknown US holiday, so I didn't think much about it.But then before my Physics lesson started, the classmates were talking about Lake Day, and then all of a sudden Prof Lannert said: "Ok. Today's Lesson's Cancelled." I was really puzzled. "What's Lake Day?!?" "Oh...It's a Wellesley tradition. It is supposed to come all of a sudden on a nice and beautiful day in Fall. Back in the early 1900s, classes were cancelled and students are going out to enjoy themselves. But now not all the classes are canceled. It is supposed to be a GIFT from nowhere for you to enjoy yourself and to get out of the academic work."Of course I didn't get all my classes canceled...but my math prof ended 20 min early. Then at noon, my friends and I went to Severance Green for the Lake Day thingy. It was really fun. Nice things to eat and to play with!It is really a nice day today. And it is really a good day for Lake Day:) I didn't get much work done during the weekend..em...I spent my Saturday on Chinese Music Ensemble, and on Sunday, I went to Boston to have lunch with the A*STAR friends and then DingDing Gerald Kangyi and PhinPeng came to visit Wellesley. It was really really nice to have them visiting Wellesley (and some of them are photog pros!), though I got a bit behind in work. After working really really hard on Monday and Tuesday, I finally got most of my work done. So I am out to enjoy Lake Day today!!!Here are some photos!

I went for lunch after going for lake day, and the french fries there were smiley faces!

And I've received my new pipa on Monday!!! It was shipped from Beijing and it was unhurt! Thank god for protecting my new pipa:)
